We still have snow!

When the weather is mild and we get out for a few minutes I'll chop away at this mound of snow. There is about 16 inches of slushy icy snow, and underneath that about 4 inches of solid ice. Soon this slope will be a green and grassy and full of life again, the girls and I enjoyed catching and inspecting all the critters we found on this busy little hill, snakes, snails and salamanders.
