Twins Halloween Party

Reagan was Rosetta, the red fairy from Tinkerbell.
Aubrey trying to be a very serious witch... (a fairy witch)

Then cracking herself up....we sat and giggled on the kitchen floor watching her try to make a serious face.

Today was their last day at school and it ended with a big bang. There was candy, costumes, games, and fun. Here is what they looked like for Halloween this year.

As most of you know by now I'll be having the twins home with me for the rest of the school year. We've converted the basement to half playroom half school room. We'll be having our 'school' time while Edie is at her morning program. I have lots of fun activities, games, and projects lined up for us here. We will also be going to story time at the local library and having lots of play dates!!

Tub-a-dee

Edie and her baby. She walked around with it in her shirt for a good hour. When she went outside she said it was time for the baby to come out of her tub-a-dee (tummy).
Too Cute!!!

A Special Thank You

You know who you are!!!...... this one is for you.
I would like to thank you for giving my girls the gift of music. Not one, NOT two, but THREE recorders came home for them the other day.
Music time now has a timer, fifteen minutes to be exact. But here is a 40 second sampling. Music time is also an outside activity now, and the recorders are a 'sometimes' toy.
For 15 minutes twice a day I am blessed by the soothing sounds of their exceptional talent. Here is a brief example of what my listening patience...... I mean pleasure sounds like.
Enjoy...

The Grasshopper

I am so loving this weathervane from Gould Farm in Henniker. I love old barns to begin with and when I took a picture of the 200+ year old barn (new blog title picture). I smiled. Of all the barn pictures throughout New England that I've taken pictures of this is the first Grasshopper. What does a grasshopper symbolize? Luck of course, but also joy, youth and adaptability which I feel surround me daily.

*Super Duper*

Our new playground! We can now have friends over and there are swings for everyone! Our neighbor Kim and her daughter Emily have been over almost everyday since it went up. She said she can hear the *twins* giggling and has to come check it out. The four of them have a blast and it's nice to be able to chat with another mom in the afternoons.

Painted Ladies

Thank You mom for this wonderful experiment/experience.
We got the kit from my mom.
We mailed away for 5 free caterpillars.
They arrived 10days later.
They ate and ate for 10 days.
Ten days later they climbed to top of their cup and made their chrysalis's.
10 days later they emerged as beautiful butterflies.
We set them free on the last warm day.
I was wonderful, and we defiantly do it again next year!!!

Driveway Chalk...

Is JUST FOR THE DRIVEWAY!!!

A New Home For Piggy...

I would like to thank Krys and Liz for adopting 'Piggy' aka Princess Honeycomb.
Unfortunately Aubrey's and Todd's allergies took a turn for the worse over the last couple of months. Their health is of the utmost importance to me.
Piggy is in a new home with new friends and we are sending her hugs and kisses.
