Rockin Rib Fest

We had a great Father's Day....and I think Todd did too! Our day started early and we packed up the kids and headed to their first race!! Todd and I had done the Warrior Dash two years ago for our 10 year anniversary. The kids have been really interested in running and the race atmosphere, I thought this would be a good introduction for them. The kids ran the Piglet race (notice T shirts). They each ran with their age group and they did great. However the twins had a little 'push' for elbow room and I could hear the comments around me..."wow those two are competitive!" I chimed in with, "since the womb" ;). 

They did great! I'm so proud!

Race time came for the 5 miles. Edie made it past mile marker 1, and then needed to head back she was done. I gave her a "piggy" back all the way back to the brewery. She did amazing after running her race earlier. 

The twins and Daddy went on to FINISH the 5 miles together!!

We celebrated at the finish line and Edie crossed the finish line with them. 

We ate ribs, fries, had our free beers as running participants, and celebrated the day......

Here we go again. 

We have been chick sitting Reagans classroom chicks over the long weekend. 

This little guy is so docile, he falls asleep with his legs dangling,

 Our chicks are now 4 weeks old. This is a side by side of our four week old chick, and our one week old classroom chick. They grow FAST!

Fingers crossed we do it right this time!

S'mores in our winter coats on May 26th...

Sunday brought about a day of adventure. I received a golf lesson, and some fun on the driving range. Todd was very patient and out of a bucket of balls I hit two wicked awesome!! It made that sweet little 'ping' noise and I hit it to about the 100 yard marker. At the end of our session it was decided. 

Todd can stick to golf and I will stick to running.

Softball Saturday's

All three girls have started softball, and all three LOVE it.

Daddy and Auntie are coaches, and it's amazing how fast these girls have caught on, and how good they are! 

So proud of them.

The first of many!

Wallis Sands Half Marathon

This goes out to all my blog followers who are NOT on Facebook yet. 

I ran my first half marathon in April, and I have my second one in my sights. It's coming up November 3rd.

I'd like to thank all my friends and family for their wonderful support and encouragement over the last couple of months.
