Girls Night

As a special treat we had chocolate ice cream. What A MESS.
They had fun, Edie was the first mini dancer out on the lawn, the twins followed the the three of them danced, giggled, and were a hit!
Alot longer than I thought they would last.
The balloons landed and they were brought back to the field. At dusk they filled them up again and put on a beautiful show of delicate lights. The field was filled with glowing balloons that looked as fragile as paper lanterns.
My camera began to beep because of low batteries, but I managed to get a couple of good night glow shots. The girls sat on the lawn and just watched with amazement. (I was watching them with amazement! They were SITTING on the lawn and not running every which way. EDIE WAS SITTING STILL!!!
The twins spoke up and said they wanted to go home.
They didn't like walking back to the car in the dark, we are never out when it's that dark, they go to bed at 7pm, so it's still pretty light out even when they go to bed.
I put them in their jammies.
They asked, 'if we fall asleep in the car can you put us in our beds?'
'Of course', I reassured them, I promised I would get us home safely, tuck them in and give them a kiss once we got home.
They were asleep before we left the parking lot.
I brought each little one up to their bed.
One by one, they were tucked in and kissed twice:)

Eb-a-wee
If Emily yells back (sight unseen just little voices through the trees) the girls know she is home and it's ok to go say hi (with mommy of course).
Sometimes Emily yells first, she yells, 'Twiiii-iiiins'.
Fifth's

Rosy cheeks and a lacy rash from head to toe. Look it up on the Internet for more details. She is not contagious at this point. Reagan seems to get it all. I remember reading all the the viruses kids could get before I even had kids. I would think to myself, holy smokes there is alot to worry about. Reagan has made me realize, we'll deal with it while we have it no matter what it is. This too shall pass.
MINE!, Two 'pa-pees', Meme to me.

We were down to our last pipe. Edie had lost one in the Walmart parking lot, it rolled away and I figured it was the perfect time for the daytime-pipe to go away for good.
It didn't go so well.
I tried explaining to her that another baby needed the pipe and since she was big girl she did not need a daytime pipe anymore....when it was time to go na-nee (to bed) she could have one in her crib ONLY. She kept crying and saying 'baby, MY papeee!!' We stopped by Meme and Grampy's on our way home.
Meme had a special gift for Edie, TWO NEW PIPES. She was thrilled. She held on to the package all the way home and held onto them like they were delicate flowers (by the way, Edie is not delicate about anything!)
So when Edie does get ahold of the TWO pipes from Meme this is what she does.

Edie Turn Around

Okay, I've never let the girls play with water guns, or toy guns or any type of shooting toy. We don't watch shows with violence, we don't watch anything other than PBS or morning Disney. I just don't like the whole idea of it. They still don't call them guns. They call them squirters. They got these on our camping trip, and it created a photo opportunity. Here are the pics, but I'm still standing my ground, the 'squirters' have since disappeared.
