22w to a 10

My sister Danielle took this of me at lake Sunapee August 1,2009.
Then a friend who was in the same physical condition and the same age as me, committed to, and completed the Couch-to-5k Running program.
He was, and is an inspiration.
My first steps were small, exhausting, downright painful and disappointing.
It took me 11 weeks to do the 9 week program.
I've ran several 5k's since completing my own program, as well as Todd and I doing the Warrior Dash this past June.
Still a work in progress...but I wanted to share the last 12 months with you....
12 months and 12 sizes!
August marks the start of another 12months.
Where will this next year take me?

I Love New Hampshire
I was asked,
'What do you love about New Hampshire?'
The winters are cold, spring takes forever, and summers are short, and autumn's beauty lasts but a minute.
Here are are some of the things I love about New Hampshire.

Mountains & Rivers :
River bed swimming at Cascade Park also in Woodstock.
Then still wet from swimming walk up to an ice cream stand, have it melt all over us then jump back in the river to wash it off.
Saw it and had to ;)

This view right outside our tent on our campsite.

Quiet and calm
A six year old 'aqua-planing' backwards!!! Come on!!!
Yes, that's Ray by the way!
Pic-nic lunch at Beaver Pond in the White Mountains National Park.
Breath taking!
Lakes:

Yes, that's Ray by the way!
Yes, that's me by the way!
Beaches :
A combination you can't go wrong with.
The best part,
about an hour or less away.
Yes, yes, it's all jam packed into summer.
Because we have to spend our autumn preparing for winter.
Our winter is spent shoveling, and leaving extra early to brave driving in the snow.
Our spring we spend digging out and recovering from winter, daydreaming for the day summer just shows up.
