Princess Seashell
We went out the other day, and the girls got to pick out a special treasure. They have been sick for a about 2 weeks, and finally feeling better we got out of the house. The each picked out a little bag of sea shells and wooden pencil box to put them in. They decorated the boxes and when Daddy came home he drilled holes in some of the shells to make necklaces. They pretend they are Ursula from the Little Mermaid and capture each others voices (yet it is still SO LOUD here!!)

I LOVE Edie's fluidity of movement. She's got it down!!, how to hold the mic...makes me laugh.
Meme and Papa came over for dinner the other night. The girls dressed up and sang songs. Edie is seen here singing about Meme's boo boo finger and Papa. It reminded me of when Dani and I used to go to our grandparents house on weekends to spend the night. My Grammy had dresses for us and we too would dance and sing for them.

Excited Aubrey!!!
Right after this face she did an interpretive candy dance, and ran around the room with her arms waving up over head and her feet kicking out left and right. I was laughing so hard I didn't get a pic.

Try This
1 sweet onion
2 ribs celery
1 large carrot
1 red pepper
finely dice the veggies
2 Tb parm cheese
1/2 cup of water
1 can cannelini beans
2 green onions
1 box pine nut couscous (prepare as the box directs)
In a large skillet brown ground chicken in 1Tb olive oil
Add vegetables and cook through (you may need to add a little water to help the veggies along there is not much fat in the ground chicken)
Add couscous, beans, parm cheese, and sliced green onions to chicken and veggie mix, heat through, serve in a green pepper.
Salt and pepper to taste
It was so good.
The tenders:
I crushed whole grain saltines, added Italian seasoning, and parm cheese, coated the tenders in the mix and baked at 425 till cooked through. The kids gobbled them up, of course they were swimming in 'dip-it' (ranch).
